Mystifying facts about the Magnetic hill

This mystic place invites you for experiencing a mysterious phenomenon. The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill as also, force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. In reality, of course, the effect is an optical illusion. The fact is that without a horizon, you are unable to judge the slope. Objects, such as trees, which one normally assumes to be more-or-less perpendicular to the ground may actually be leaning, thereby offsetting the visual reference. The ocular illusion causes downhill slope to seem to be an uphill slant and you seem to be defying gravity. It’s a rare phenomenon found in handful of places in the world.

Besides this scientific explanation of course, folklore has it, that supernatural forces are at work here causing this awe- inspiring phenomenon.
