  • Day 01: Departure from Delhi.

    Departure from Delhi early morning (6am) by A/c Tempo Traveller. Reach Bikaner by late evening. Breakfast & Lunch enroute Check in to Hotel Harasar Haveli.

    Day 02: Bikaner.

    Freshen up and leave for a full day city Photo tour after breakfast. Bikaner is a vibrant desert town with a fabulous fort, a refreshing outpost feel and fabulous crafts. Close to the fort lies the rickety old walled city, a medieval maze of narrow, dark and uneven streets decorated with dark red sandstone Haveli’s and some elegantly painted Jain temples. Return to hotel in the evening. Review of day’s work after dinner.

    Day 03: Jaisalmer.

    Leave early morning for Jaisalmer via Khichan Brief stop at Khichan. Khichan is a village in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan around 170 kms from Bikaner that in recent years has established a tradition of feeding Demoiselle Cranes when they migrate here in winter. Around 5,000 Kgs (11,000 lb) of bird seed are consumed every day by the feeding birds. Over 9000 Demoiselle Cranes visit Khichan village for almost 8 months of the year. Lunch en route Jaisalmer, reaching by evening, check in to Hotel.

    Day 04: Jaisalmer.

    Early start for Fort and Haveli’s after breakfast. The city of Jaisalmer has witnessed different forms of architecture in different eras. The ancient times saw dominating Rajputana architecture where as the medieval period witnessed the fusion of Rajputana and subtle Islamic architecture. It is this era that saw the construction of most of the Havelis. Haveli is places, which served as the residence of Wazirs i.e. ministers and landlords. Usually they are very big and have lots of rooms and open space. Return to Hotel by noon. Depart after lunch for Sam Dunes by 3.30pm. Return late night after dinner. Review of day’s work.

    Day 05: Jaisalmer to Bikaner.

    Depart early for Bikaner. Breakfast & lunch en-route. Visit some typical Rajasthani viilages on the way. Photograph their unique lifestyle & habitat. Arrival at Bikaner by evening. Night Stay at Hotel.

    Day 06: Departure for Delhi.

    Departure for Delhi by early morning. Breakfast and lunch enroute. Reach Delhi by late evening. Trip end.

Cancellation 20 days or more before departure: 100% refund. Cancellation 15 to 19 days before departure: 50% refund. Cancellation less than 14 days prior to departure no refund. In the event of insufficient tour sign-ups, which is minimum of six(6) TNSS Photography Tours & Workshops reserves the right to cancel any given trip.   • 1. I am an amateur photographer, can I come on this tour?

  • TNSS leads the tours and is ably assisted by his hand-picked team of instructors. As you travel with TNSS to some of their favorite spots, you’ll learn their techniques for everything from capturing the expanse of a landscape to photographing the smallest detail. From their years of experience, TNSS knows the right places – and the right time of year to shoot them. Their tours and workshops are designed to give you the best opportunities to make the best captures. To ensure that everyone’s needs are met, and for the optimal size for group travel, the tours are limited to 10-12 participants. You’ll be in good company, sharing your ideas, images and love of photography with your fellow travelers. You can relax, knowing that the travel arrangements have all been handled for you.


  • 2. What can I expect on a photography tour?

  • On these journeys, TNSS shares their knowledge, curiosity and enthusiasm for places, cultures, and wildlife. They enjoys sharing vast accumulated experience and are passionate about helping each of their participants hone his or her vision. You’ll be in the field shooting side by side with TNSS, and then, once back at the group’s lodgings, benefiting from their critiques of your shots. Careful thought and planning go into the schedule of each trip. That said, please know that if a better shooting opportunity arises – such as a mystically foggy morning – they will juggle the schedule to help you get your best shot. You’ll work hard, shoot a ton, and take your photography to the next level – and in the process you’ll have a great time! These trips are a fantastic opportunity to immerse in your photography and TNSS will be right there giving you a personal photography lesson.
